How to schedule a YouTube post in Claude

1. Add SocialRainbow to Claude

   Start the SocialRainbow trial, then open the connectors directory, find SocialRainbow, choose Connect, and sign in with the same SocialRainbow account.

2. Connect your YouTube channel

   Choose the YouTube connection and complete the provider's authorization page. Return to Claude and list accounts again to confirm the connection.

3. Prepare the YouTube post and exact time

   Provide the final message, any link or media, the local date and time, and an IANA timezone such as America/New_York or Europe/London.

4. Validate and review the exact preview

   Check the YouTube channel, visible content, media, local time, timezone, and UTC offset. Resolve warnings or errors before approval.

5. Approve the schedule

   Explicitly approve that exact preview. SocialRainbow schedules the unchanged payload and returns the actual publication job status.

A prompt you can copy

You do not need to name internal tools. State the outcome, destinations, source material, and approval requirement in plain language.

What SocialRainbow can publish to YouTube

Make the first line a clear, searchable title, then use the remaining copy as a useful description rather than repeating the title.

Supported content: single-video uploads with a title, description, and privacy setting. YouTube requires exactly one supported video and an explicit public, unlisted, or private visibility choice.

Choose the final video and visibility before validation. For TikTok, also review the creator's available interaction and disclosure settings. If required media or options are missing, add them instead of silently removing the destination.

What it cannot publish

Media handling in Claude

For media posts, provide a direct public media URL that SocialRainbow can validate for the selected destination.

Media storage does not publish a post. The assistant still has to validate the destination, show the complete preview, receive approval, and call the final publish or schedule action.

What the final review should show

• The exact connected account name and destination.
• The final visible root post and any follow-ups or comments.
• Every link, media item, and destination-specific option.
• The local date and time, IANA timezone, and UTC offset.
• Warnings, normalization changes, or validation errors.

If anything changes after that review, validate the new version and approve it again. This keeps the user's approval tied to the content that will actually be sent.
